Program Overview
The younger age levels (ages 10-13) are designed to develop skills, confidence
and the desire to excel and achieve set goals. The older age levels, (ages
14-17) focus on team and game concepts to prepare them for next level basketball
and the opportunity for a college scholarship.
The year round program starts in the February of 2007. As the junior high and
high school seasons’ come to a conclusion in March, the Lady Prospects hold open
tryouts until age group teams are formed in mid-March. In late March, a 13-week
schedule of AAU, USBA, USJN, and Invitational tournaments begin. These events
run until mid-June.

July’s schedule consist of national AAU, Showcase, and Elite tournaments.
In the Fall, the Lady Prospects hold a team meeting and open gym workouts. The
next several weeks are comprised of weekend events and selected competitions. In
mid-November, the Lady Prospects then hold open, optional gym time for
individual development on Sunday evenings
through mid-February.

Come to a Northeast Kansas Lady Prospects Practice
The Lady Prospects hold practices and
workouts on Saturdays and Sundays during the months of March, April, and May. In
June, July, and August, practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the
junior high and high school basketball season (November to March), weekend open
gym is held on Sunday evenings.
Practice times on the weekends range from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Summer practice
times range from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Sunday evening open gym times range from 5
p.m. to 8 p.m..
